The Guru

An old guy once told me that the best time he ever spent was behind the weels of his old beat up station wagon from 1984. I didnt believe him. I thought that all that is just crap for the young ears that at that time belonged to me.
We met at a car park. I, a greenest driver in the world, and she a greyest Toyota Yaris D4D.
I lost my virginity in a Kia Pride at the DMV (crap) and the Yaris was my Pride and joy.
We went everywhere together. I would take her to my bed but she didnt fit through the front door. The ride was excellent for the category. The brakes, the suspension, the acceleration were superb (in my pathetic little world). We made 60000 miles in a heartbeat. A 4 year heartbeat but nevertheless. She still is my favourite car of all time, in spite i had a veriety of cars after her. She was my unicorn, my madonna, my Eleanor. I sold her without a bump or a scratch to a friend of mine. I still see her sometimes driving along or in his garage. I will never forget her.
That brings me back to the old guy from thebegining of the post. I believe you now you smelly, mostly drunk old car guru. You know your shit!
